Abstract


人種誌講求體現實踐,並且非常依賴感官認識事物。而置身情境中的 研究者,便是工具。(Conquergood,1991,頁180,斜體字為原文)

戲劇與劇場離不開要了解文化,因此跟人種誌息息相關。Raymond Williams(1983)認為戲劇能讓文化研究者明白連繫人與人之間的社會約 定和習俗。Dorothy Heathcote 則呼籲戲劇老師要像個「考古學家」或「人 種誌學者」,尋找戲劇行動背後的文化意涵(Wagner,1999,頁73)。因 此,戲劇與劇場教育跟人種誌一樣,都要體現實踐。人種誌學者跟戲劇從 業員和研究者,必須「待在那裏」,捕捉人們的言行,或其他溝通方法, 再把這些經驗和做法進行宏觀分析。
